Dr. Gerry Ramogida B.Sc., D.C.
Dr. Gerry Ramogida is a chiropractor who utilizes a combination of manual techniques (Active Release Techniques (ART), osteopathic joint pumping and fascial release, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture (where licensed), and chiropractic joint manipulation), in combination with biomechanical evaluation of athlete movement in an effort to return individuals from injury, reduce injury frequency, and improve athletic performance. He works with individuals at all levels of activity, whether returning to exercise to improve health, or a professional athlete returning from injury or looking to maximize performance. Dr. Gerry Ramogida is currently a consultant with many Olympic and professional athletes (MLB, NHL, NFL, EPL). He has been the Seattle Seahawks team Chiropractor and performance therapist since 2002. He has worked as a member of the Canadian medical staff at the World Track and Field Championships in Edmonton (2001), Paris (2003), Helsinki (2005), and Osaka (2007), as well as the Olympic Summer Games in Athens (2004), and Beijing (2008). In the January of 2010, Dr. Ramogida was hired by United Kingdom Athletics to bring his methods of “Trackside/Performance Therapy” (the integration of manual therapies into athlete training sessions for the purposes of improving performance and reducing injury frequency) to the UK to help in the nations efforts to meet high expectations at the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games (see list below of team appointments).
